Circuit Bent Yamaha RY30 Demos

Two demos from a modded Yamaha RY30 with a 24 way bend bus percussion grinding switch matrix.

The RY30 is home to some of the most impressive bent sounds we’ve ever heard. Even after over 15 years of bending drum machines, we were very surprised by this one! Theres something about the way you can get effects to change and evolve that you don’t hear on other machines. Theres also much better separation of the sounds in the mix than on similar units. I have the feeling we haven’t even scratched the surface of what you can do with this thing!

All the sounds and effects are created live by processing drum patterns using the switch matrix.
